Oh. Well, the city said they could do anything, so I asked them if they could get you a cure you know to vampirism???? You don't have to take it if you don't want to, but I mean why wouldn't you, right???? But they said they couldn't do anything without your consent, which is understandable :)

So I asked for a cure. No more blood or downworlder politics or danger.

I also asked for the cup. They said I could have two incentives, I just have to cuddle more :)))

well it looks like we're on the same wavelength, at least cup wise. i asked the reps to get it back to you. maybe i should have doubled-down on incentives as well, asked for a less beat up van for the band?

[ it's easier to joke about, asking for a van instead of dealing with the fact that clary offered to come here for him in part. to find a cure for his condition that he's not sure he wants to take. doesn't know how to refuse without coming off as ungrateful. he knows she must feel guilt, for what happened to him, for not picking up the phone, for choosing the shovel instead of the stake— and he wants to take that guilt away.

wants to be the best friend she thinks he is, but he's selfish too. they're similar in that, when it comes to each other.

maybe he'll just keep his misgivings to himself, for now. ]
