There were a few hints. If it's any consolation, there are quite a few people 'out of the coffin', if you don't mind the phrase. It's a bit on the nose. ( y'know, not her though. never her. she's definitely not a vampire. ) Of course if you're not that's ok too, but just in case. It's always a relief to find out you don't have to go sneaking around in the shadows or whatever, right?

though evil can be kind of… subjective, don’t you think? there are things that people think are inherently evil but aren’t. who knows the monster under your bed may just be lonely and not looking to snatch one of your limbs once it hangs off the mattress.

most things are subjective, really. and people's opinions on things are more often than not shaped by what they see and hear on tv, or in movies, or on the news, but nothing is as simple as black and white, good and evil.

i guess the forever young part was a bit unsubtle. and i don’t mind the phrase, it’s very apt. i wish there were pamphlets about how to go about it, like how to tell your friends and family that you won’t be showing up for sunday dinner because you can’t eat it. or how to explain to people that you don’t tan, you turn into a fried egg on the sidewalk.
